21.10.2011 Friday // Jazzga, ul. Piotrkowska 17 // 10 pm
23.00 Furia Futrzaków // 10-11 pm, and Łukasz Rodziewicz past midnight
Together with Mega Total (www.megatotal.pl), after a day full of festival experience, join us in one of the best Łódź clubs – Jazzga – for a great Mega Total Design Party!
Furia Futrzaków will play for us. It is a producer&vocal duo, performing ambitious pop and electronic music, founded by Kinga Miśkiewicz (a signer whose voice “touches hearts and lifts buildings”), Andrzej Pieszak (classic-educated pianist) and Peter Bergstrand (a console master). They all been share a fascination for electronic music and refined pop. This night will surely be filled with their passion!
Furia Futrzaków is a band which transfers dance pop, inspired by Moloko, Robyn, Goldfrapp and The Knife, to Poland. Their music, ambitious, light and positive, finds its way to a selective audience who prefer club sounds and good songs with Polish lyrics. Their LP debut, entitled “Furia Futrzaków”, was released in 2010 and was taken under the media patronage by Channel 3 of the Polish Radio, “Machina” magazine, and MySpace, and was awarded with the quality label of Channel 3. The album consists of their own musical and lyrical compositions. It is very modern and, like Scandinavian and French electronic music, it sounds synthetic. Currently, the band is working on their second album.
Furia Futrzaków has performed, above else, at Heineken Opener Festival, Free Form Festival in Warsaw, Idea Pix Fest in Cracow, Nowebrzmienia Festival in Wrocław, Night of Million Cranes – a charity concert for tsunami victims in Japan.
The band: Kinga Miśkiewicz – vocals, Andrzej Pieszak – keyboard, Tomek Mądzielewski – drums, Wojciech Kidoń – percussion instruments, Wojciech Trusewicz – sound producer.
After the concert, the hot dance atmosphere will be maintained by Łukasz Rodziewicz - Brane.
A DJ and promoter from Łódź, he has been mixing music for more than 10 years. He has taken part in a multitude of projects, reaching into various, often seemingly remote, areas of contemporary club music. An enthusiast of new sounds, experiments with style, and deep bass vibes. His eclectic sets spin around future bass, UK funky, tropical, garage, house and broken beat.
Entry only with the festival multi-entrance ticket. Multi-entrance tickets are available at the Festival Centre at Targowa 35 (exhibition opening hours).
22.10.2011 Saturday // Fever, Manufaktura Market Square // 21.30
21.30 Beats Friendly / Novika & Mr Lex DJ
Together with KOŁO and Kaniewski Saute Design, we would like to invite you to our party at the Fever club (Manufaktura Market Square), where Novika and Mr Lex DJ will heat up the dance floor with their Beats Friendly project.
Beats Friendly is a DJ collective started by Novika as a reaction to the fact that all the gigs seem to be the same, and people are not really aware that there are other genres than house.
Beats Friendly parties are full of dance, positive energy and eclecticism. They specialise in mixing club sounds and combining various styles, from deep house and electro house, through breaks & broken beats, to reggae, funk and disco. Novika’s warm, lyrical voice is a great complement to the music, and it always adds to the fun on the dance floor.
